Talk: Thursday 23 November 2017, 7.30 pm, at the Tony Cooper Suite, Cottenham Village College

Doors open 7.15 pm; meeting begins 7.30 pm

Richard Mortimer will be speaking on ‘Anglo-Saxon settlement along the A14 upgrade and the impending excavation of a Mercian ‘King’s enclosure’.

This will be a great opportunity to hear news of the current excavations taking place along the A14. Richard is a Senior Project Manager at Oxford Archaeology and a specialist in Anglo-Saxon archaeology.

The meeting will be followed by the AGM.

The Tony Cooper Suite is on the first floor of the 6th form block behind the main school. If you are facing the school, take the
path at the right hand side along the side of the school to reach the 6th form block.
