FEAG visit to Museum of Classical Archaeology
On 8th December 2017, fifteen FEAG members and friends visited the Museum of Classical Archaeology in Cambridge. Jennie Thornber, Museum Education and Outreach Coordinator, introduced us to some highlights of the displays, which consists of more than 450 plaster casts of Greek and Roman sculpture. The casts are of the highest quality and give a real feel of the variety and beauty of sculpture from the length and breadth of the Classical world.
Thanks to Jennie for her guidance. I am sure several members of the group will be returning for a closer and more leisurely look.
